Charles, inseparable from Jenny and devoted to his girls, made time to enrich the lives of so many boys in the Boys Brigade. Their support for John was wonderful and he would have been sending a tribute today if he hadn't gone to heaven himself. We often think of John walking home from BB with Nigel. It was a highlight in John's life. These things are known about in heaven and remembered gratefully here.

His service to the church as operator of the sound and recording system (despite his own serious hearing loss) was exemplary - totally dependable. He will not have any hearing problems now.

A lovely, quiet Christian family man. "Well done, good and faithful servant".
